Road starts outside the walled city and crossing the Ravi River,
joins the Grand Trunk Road laid by Sher Shah Suri in the 1540s.
As the British were first stationed in the Lahore Fort, the
older of the two Christian Cemeteries was situated close by,
on this road. |
