Punjab Assembly Building, a pleasant blend of classical pillars
and Moorish architecture, was begun in 1935 and completed in
1938. Situated at the prime site of the Charing Cross, now Faisal
Chowk, it has witnessed many a historic procession and protest
marches during the Independence movement and over the last several
decades. |
