Old Ravi Bridge, 1991
The Ravi river was, till well after the arrival of the British, the primary life-line of the city. It brought merchant ships and vessels of trade and commerce from the north and the south to the very edge of the walled city. A permanent structure, now called the Old Bridge, replaced the boat bridge during the British Raj. Here the river and the bridge are interpreted in the semi-abstract manner.
